Remember the days of High-Scoring PBA Imports, I’ve kept some of their Personal Stats/Total Points, averages to share and for future references, The 1980s Era produced so many great american reinforcements playing in the PBA, I’ll start my post from 1987 Third Conference thru 1989, wish I had more particularly during the early decade.

Freeman Williams
82 pts – Tanduay 129-122 win over Hills Bros, Oct.6
45 pts – Tanduay 119-115 win over Shell, Oct.29
On October 18, 1987, Hills Bros. import Jose Slaughter hit a record 14 triples, in the Coffee Kings 129-115 win over Great Taste, it is said he scored 79 points, I recall following that game on TV on a slightly-delayed basis and fully aware of his record-breaking performance, based on my stats archive, he was averaging 55 points in the first five games, so indeed Slaughter must have scored 79, just can’t believe how I missed that out.
